In contrast to his burly partner, Deiv is a wiry fellow, and standing an inch over six feet, is nearly a full foot shorter than the daemoness he chose to have children with. His body is covered with fine red scales akin to sharkskin, though his hands, feet, ears, and tailtip are white. A white diamond-shaped blaze marks his chest as well. Deiv has a rather angular face and is the only member of his household to have a slight muzzle. His eyes are green, often twinkling. A single dark grey horn grows from his forehead in a faint upward curve, splitting the bangs of his shoulder-length silver hair into two portions that eternally fall in the way of his eyes since he doesn't care to trim them. His tail is long and feline, lacking the spade Chaith and his children have. Deiv's wings have very little wing-leather to them and the digits are only about half the length they should be, making them ornamental at best. Deiv enjoys dressing in loose black slacks and baggy tunics of any color that won't clash too horribly against his scales. He is the only member of the household to be plantigrade and takes advantage of this trait to wear comfortable sandals in the warm seasons and fur-lined boots in the colder ones. |
| Personality: | Deiv never really grew up all the way and is as much an older brother or uncle to his children as he is an actual father figure. He always seems to have a joke or playful jibe tucked away, ready to be pulled out and used with a smile. He is a very amiable fellow who rarely gets angry and seems incapable of holding a grudge of any sort. Deiv has an extremely open mind and is accepting of other people almost always without question, though that's not to say he's naive or refuses to see the dark side of things. Still, he accepts even the many bizarre events of his life with such an easy smile that it's sometimes disconcerting. |
