Personality:	Young Ika admires humans the same way some humans admire dogs, cats, or any other favorite variety of animal. She is very much a Niteshan in her quirks and behaviors, living mostly independent from society, yet at the same time near enough to outposts of human civilization so that she might study their ways. She socializes with other Asandae as little as possible, being content with her own company, though there is one thing above all that keeps her from shunning interaction with other beings entirely: she loves books, fiction especially, and cannot go long without visiting a library. (She would love to own her own collection, but doesn't have a penny to her name as she lives feral in the wilderness, and so cannot buy any books of her own.)
Abilities:	Body-Heat Control: The ability to control one's body temperature, to keep warm or cool off. Flowering: Every few years, Ika's gemlike scales bloom into flowery structures. If she contracts the pollen of another, a seed-like egg is produced, which must be planted in nutrient-rich ground in order to hatch. Functional Magic: A wide-ranging ability to wield magic to just about any purpose, from object enchantment to protective spells, and more. Hibernation: In times of emergency, Niteshans can "take root" in natural surroundings, going physically and mentally dormant while drawing nutrients from their surroundings, and remain so until their kit has developed. Psionics: All Asandae have the potential to wield mental powers if they practice, such as telepathy, teleportation, and telekinesis. Shapeshifting (Asandus-Human Spectrum): The ability to shapeshift to any form between human and Asandus shapes. Verbal Speech: The ability to communicate in spoken words.
