Personality:	Tristis is a sweet and amiable dragon, but those who know her will agree she has a somewhat distant or distracted air about her, like someone who's going through life only half awake. None of her podmates criticize this aspect of her demeanor, however, as they all sympathize with its cause. Tristis was a dragoness who took a mate to be her partner 'til the end of their days, but her beloved Vallo was slain when a pack of Shevran Caetrae attacked his hunting group. How the seafloor-bound demons managed to overtake the agile Asandae is a mystery, though the use of strong magic is highly suspected. Time has been slow in healing that wound for her, and though she has attempted to participate in the Festivals that come every mating season, without her Vallo, not even instinct can rekindle the sense of celebration the Festivals once provided. She has tried to be open to the wooings of other Cascatans, but it seems her heart does not want any little loves to follow up the great love she had with Vallo. She still enjoys socializing with her podmates and playing with her young son, Mico, but when Vallo died, he took Tristis's ability to love beyond family and friends with him.
