Blue is arguably the most handsome of the Phantoms (like a mask-hidden deformity is really all that big of a deal), but he is also the shyest. He is gentle and earnest, but at the same time that he longs for companionship, he is afraid to be near or even to be seen by other people, including Chrisphene and his fellow Phantoms. His contrasting desires and fears are constantly at war within him, making him timid and self-doubting, and perhaps worst of all, completely aware of his failings and his inability to overcome them.
