Personality:	Paenos is, in a peculiar way, quite the gentleman. He is soft-spoken and polite, sometimes weaving words together in a way one would expect to hear from a poet, rather than a chaos-bent Shadowling. This courteous air, however, extends only to the ladies of Paenos's life: Daerona, Scylla, Dreel, and of course his beloved bondmate Charybdis. His affection to the latter monster at times seems to transcend that of the "mere" affection for a dragon to his bond. Though his adoration is a one-way street as Charybdis is incapable of love, this does not seem to bother him. Perhaps because she cannot love anything, possessing her as a bond -- as no other creature can -- is enough.
Abilities:	Classified as a "Big" Shadowling, Paenos is on the stronger side of the male Shadowling spectrum. He is large and mighty, but slow. The lack of speed is only physical, however, for he possesses a sharp mind and powerful telekinetic abilities alongside the standard draconic telepathy and teleportation. He is also capable in shifting in size, a trademark of the Shadowling breed, though as a Big that's exactly how he likes to appear: big. Since he wouldn't insult Daerona by appearing larger than her, and wouldn't want to dwarf Scylla, either, his default size is one halfway between that of the two sea monsters: about forty-three feet long.
