Tall, bipedal, and unusually vibrant, Cid is a dragon who tends to catch the eye wherever he goes. Odd though the blocking of his markings are, though, they are entirely natural. At a distance, they make him appear to be clothed, but Sema Riihan do not wear full outfits -- the only articles Cid truly wears are toeless boots, gloves, a set of dog tags, and flight goggles that are usually pushed up on his forehead. Often there is a pack of what appear to be cigarettes tucked inside the band of the goggles. Cid seems to be proud of his complex markings, however, because the clothes he wears in his nearly-human Lunari form mirror them almost perfectly: army green pants, blue flight jacket over black T-shirt, white scarf, and his boots, gloves, dog tags, and goggles. In this form, he stands apart from true humans in that he retains the "split" ears and curved white horns of his draconic form. Otherwise he looks like a man in his early thirties, gruff and stubbled along his jaw but not unappealing of feature. |

The first impression most people get of Cid is that he is loud -- and this is an imprint that will never be replaced, because that is exactly what Cid is. Hotheaded and foulmouthed, it's hard not to know when Cid's around. Whether he's cursing in frustration or hooting in triumph, be it at one of his machines or someone working alongside him, he always seems to be several notches too loud for wherever he is at the time. He's also a man easily made impatient, which only makes him all the louder. Despite these traits, though, Cid has a good heart and always does the right thing when it comes down to it. Cid has a soft spot for sweets and is almost always seen with a candy cigarette in his mouth, taken from the pack he keeps tucked inside the headband of his goggles. He savors them slowly and it can take him upwards of half an hour to get through a single cig, hanging idly from his lip as he goes about his day. He is as fixated on them as any true smoker and more than a few of his cursing fits have been triggered by finding he's eaten his last one and has to go get more. He is also a dedicated drinker of tea and can be very... compelling about getting others to drink it with him. |

Cid is originally from Kynn's moons, where he trained as a pilot. He is familiar with and licensed to operate any tier of Lunari flying tech and learned several interstellar ship class controls thanks to passing freights and transports. (Kynn does not have space flight of their own, but does act as a port in some ship paths, due to the unique nature of its 'bubble' outside what most consider the 'normal' universe.) One of his jaunts planetside to Kynn's surface permitted him to show off some of his combat skills, inadvertently earning him the attention of a young Nara Riihan, one of the species carefully bred out of the Kaja Riihan lines by the Order of the Dragon. The Nara, Khaeuss, attached himself right to the larger dragon with complete disregard for protocol. Though the incident was quite unplanned, it earned Cid the title of an Honorary Dragon Knight, due to his selection by one of the Order's dragons. |
