| Description: |
Duo is an unusual anthropomorph, being a humanoid version of a species called mequis. He has the height and build of a slim fifteen-year-old human boy, but possesses hybrid features somewhere between feline and equine. He has a round face with large, slit-pupiled blue eyes, alert pointed ears, and a short rounded snout. His hands have shortened paw-like fingers, while his feet are non-cloven hooves. A feline tail flicks emotionally behind him and his entire body is coated with plush beige fur. He has extremely long chestnut brown hair, which he keeps bound in a single three-foot-long braid, while unruly bangs hang in spikes over his eyes. His clothing might be considered even more unusual than his species, as he wears an all-black outfit with a high collar and white undershirt, which together give the impression of a Catholic priest's garb.

Duo is a perpetual mischief-maker with little respect for adult authority. He grew up on the city streets of a world no longer known to him, devoid of any grown-up caretakers and instead was raised by and alongside other children of similar status: orphans and runaways with no one but each other to look after them. For reasons unknown, as Duo is not forthcoming on them, the boy eventually found a way off the planet and became a spacefaring stowaway, traveling from space station to station whenever his whims dictated on whatever craft he could sneak his way aboard. He seems to have the devil's own luck to have persisted at such a lifestyle at such a young age and can regale listeners with many an edge-of-your-seat tale of space pirates and slavers, though the truth of these tales is often questioned -- much to the boy's annoyance.
