Now able to loosen up and let go, Duo is a lively and often silly creature. He always seems to be grinning and has a sometimes quirky sense of humor, getting a one-liner in here and there that usually amuse whoever is there to hear it. The Alaiskya is incredibly lively and full of energy, but only at night. During the day he sleeps like a rock and snores like a chainsaw. At night, however, he makes an excellent sentry because of his inability to tire and the variety of his magics. He might not be particularly strong, but he is clever and multi-talented.

• Breath Weapon (Magic): The ability to breathe out a burst of pure magic. By tying one of his magical skills into it, Duo can also change his breath's effect.
• Breath Weapon (Ray of Light): A beam of light, rather like a laser, can be used to just blind or to harm.
• Breath Weapon (Silver Light): A stream of bright silver that bathes the target in its glow and can calm and settle most people. Also causes moon-dependent werebeasts to shapeshift.
• Breath Weapon (Touch of Darkness): A cone of darkness that drains energy from any struck by it, also causing blindness while the cone is in effect.
• Light Magic: The ability to wield magic of light in all its forms. At power level 6, Duo is on the high end of average mastery.
• Moon Magic: The ability to wield magic of the moon. At power level 5, Duo is of average mastery.
• Shadow Magic: The ability to wield magic to control, create, and use shadows for nearly any task. At power level 3, Duo is on the high end of basic skill.
• Telepathy: The ability to speak mind-to-mind.
