Laidback and confident, its takes quite a lot to ruffle Hicks' cool. His confidence doesn't come across as pride or arrogance, however--he just knows what he knows, is secure in that knowledge, and doesn't try to pretend to be anyone more than he is. He's not overly outgoing, but he is supportive of and quietly friendly with others, believing in loyalty and camaraderie with ones teammates--in his case, his fellow Ranch of DOOMers. He also seems to hold a special sort of affection for Ripley, though it remains to be seen if he'll receive anything in return.
