Personality: Huo'Xoing is a rather arrogant dragon, but given the master-level fire magic he commands, he almost has a right to be so. That doesn't make him any easier to live with, however! The only other person who can cow him is Ashsmor, but it just proves the depth of Huo'Xoing's pride that it takes a demi-god to humble him.

Nevertheless, Huo'Xoing has somehow or another managed to establish a sound friendship with the Ranch's other wingless fire mage, Derkesthai. Even if Dirk is laidback and fun-loving to Xuo'Hoing's stiff arrogance, the two are almost always seen together
