Personality: Makoss is an oddly serene drone. Amidst the chaos Gavin gets from the majority of his hive, Makoss's composure and tranquility is like a breath of fresh air. If the rest of the hive is in a stir over one thing or another, Makoss is the wordless equivalent of the voice of reason, helping Gavin regain order by impressing its own calmness upon their net of minds. It has a tendency to settle in places for long stretches of time, simply watching--long enough that its carapace is often dusty for moving so infrequently!

Its mindvoice is the cool stir of a deep-flowing stream.
