With that aside, Demysun is guy you either hate or really like. He is eternally merry and full of good cheer, pleasant and fun to be around... as long as he considers you a friend and equal, or a superior to be obeyed. Demysun is infallibly conceited and very much a snob, with no consideration at all for anyone he thinks is inferior to he and his peers. He is laughingly offhand and rude in these cases, and irritatingly condescending.

Working aboard the Abstract Destiny as a security guard--a privately-hired position he sought out rather than get roped into "common" station security like his mother--Demysun is thankfully fairly low in the pecking order of things, so his more jarring nature doesn't often get to show. When it does, however, only the longest and coolest of tempers can hold up against it.

• Call Lightning: The ability to summon controlled bolts of lighting out of the "sky", even if he's indoors!
• Telepathy: The ability to speak mind-to-mind.
• Teleportation: The ability to teleport anywhere within sight or that can be strongly visualized in the mind.
• Verbal Speech: The ability to speak aloud.
