Where Araaye is book-smart, Jilkonshett is street-smart. He doesn't have much patience for books or hard facts, though he finds Araaye adorable when she decides to spout facts or get into a philosophical debate, and would probably be a very cheerful D-student if he ever took classes. Instead, he comes across as almost a "good" gangster-type: tough, capable, hot-tempered, but also quick to grin and joke, and very knowledgeable about "real" life -- which he will immerse himself in whenever Araaye's not in want of his attention, or he, hers.
