The ability to amplify the emotions of someone nearby. This is done generally and without specific guidance, simply boosting whatever emotions that person is already feeling.

If the manipulator also has the Empathy ability (below), they have more control. Empaths can pick out a specific emotion they detect and amplify that one alone.

In either case, these effects are temporary, unless the amplified individual seizes the boost and runs with it. Otherwise they fade within a couple hours.

The ability to sense the emotions in people nearby.

The hybrid can influence the size of a fire and direct its movement, but cannot directly control it.

His silence should not be taken for an antisocial nature, however. Since his muteness makes him the ultimate listener, he is very attentive to those around him. He hears everything said in his presence, even if he is not the one being spoken to. He is an absolute savant at devising and juggling schemes, secretive ones as often as not, and pulling them off successfully.
