Purged Creatures

A Purge is, basically, "spring cleaning" for the Fate. As large as the ship is, with such busy labs and the corruptive presence of the Red Demon, it is prone to accumulating creatures that Dritanys does not desire to have around. Rather than deal with them on a one-by-one basis, the creatures are rounded up and kicked off the ship -- hence, Purged -- every so often.

Outside of the Biotheurges that wind up being released in a Cavern, smaller experiments are constantly being undergone in the mage-labs. Sometimes the results of these smaller Theurges are found faulty, so the Fate does not wish to keep them, yet there is still promise in the creature for it not to be culled. In these cases, the creature is released at random on some other world to be observed for a time and then -- commonly -- forgotten.

Alternately, sometimes Cavern-held Theurges have "leftover" creatures at the end of the hatching -- ones that did not claim a bond or sponsor, but are still unwanted by the Fate for whatever reason. These creatures, too, are Purged from the ship for observation on other worlds.

Purged creatures are no longer on the ship. They were judged undesirable and forcibly kicked off. They have now been left on random planets throughout the universe. Perhaps luck -- whether good OR bad -- will cross their path with yours.

Purged creatures cannot be found by their parents, friends of the parents, etc.

1. Look at the Purged chart below and see if there's a creature you like.
2. Fill out the form at the bottom of the page to put your claim on the creature.
3. If you want to relocate a character to find a new bond or sponsor, the character must meet all the regular rules, except for the story requirement.
4. Once I confirm your claim, you must write a story for your character. Your story must deal with your character encountering the Purged creature and becoming the bond/caretaker/friend/etc. of the creature. You must do this in a timely fashion -- if you cannot provide a story within a month, the creature will be taken back.
5. Once the story has been written and added to your character's page, you will be given the hatchling and adult images for the creature.
6. You must upload the images within two weeks. If you fail to do so, the creature will be reclaimed and you cannot reapply for them.

Personality: Sagittarius is a dragon that you just cannot pin down -- not for love, not for money, not for anything. Nothing means more to this optimistic fellow than freedom and wide open spaces -- the ability to pursue any of the great challenges life has to offer. But don't take his roving ways to mean he's antisocial! Just the opposite, Sagittarius loves to socialize with others, making them laugh and spreading his own boisterous cheer wherever he goes, and any party he drops by is sure to wind up with him as one of its highlights. He loves a good debate, too, and can cheerfully argue with someone for hours, all in good fun. His "big fish" stories can get the better of him, however, turning everything into an exaggeration that has to top the one that came before it, leaving the truth rather lost and muddled.
